Alltel prl on verizon card?

anon posted : Hi, I have a um150 Alltel data card that I have had before the merger happened. My Dad just got a Verizon data card (no alltel store now) to use at his place just down the street from me. His signal strength is in the low 20's % compared to mine that is at least 60%. I think he is stuck on the Verizon tower that is 10 miles further away. I update my Alltel card with no problems all the time. I only see an option to automatically update prl on his, no option to manually put one on. Is there any way to put a Alltell prl on his card to hit the alltel tower i'm on? Thanks
