gawd... this is why we will never be able to buy emta's or cable boxes that arn't tivos... comcast likes to jack up the rates!... I came to the conclusion the only reason we can't buy eMTA's is because it has a battery in it and if the power goes out and you need 911 they dont want to be sued when it doesnt work just because you bought your own and you didnt replace your battery when it died......
