| Huge Improvement Let me start out by saying I've been no fan of AT&T in the past, or even now. I've been an iPhone user for over a year
I'm usually away from my home area (Essex County - Montclair, the Oranges, etc) for months at a time. I returned the last week of August after a 2 month absence and immediately noticed the difference. Notorious spots where I'd always suffer a call drop are now problem-free - connection uninterrupted. I'm on 3G all the time, at greatly increased speed, from areas where earlier I barely had EDGE access, let alone 3G.
I've also noticed much better coverage inside buildings, and in other areas that where earlier coverage was spotty at best.
So yeah - for this user, there's been a huge difference. Now if they'd just get their act together in Manhattan, LA and Silicon Valley.
I'd made up my mind earlier this Summer to switch to VZW ASAP. But if AT&T can maintain this quality improvement over the long haul, I just may stay put. |
