Well, since he posted it as a JPG and not a link, I would say Photo Shopped. Look at his upload speeds and ping times. Nice try!
I'm running a little slow tonight.

Looks legit, my apologies. You are hooked up! Now instead of being dubious, I am jealous. I prefer being dubious!

Ok, now you have me confused, it shows 10.34 Mb/s not mb/s in his link.

But it's 1.2 megaBYTES, right? Not megabits? That's crazy fast for 3G!!

it says 10 Mb/s notice the Big M and little b people.

*jim* didn't you link multiple devices together to achieve a higher than possible speed? so in essence couldn't someone link 2-4 devices together and drive to a tower and have godly speed?

j/w don't strangle me if i'm wrong here.

I was thinking the same . . . .

Mb/s . . would be just that . . . Megabyes per second

So a 2.27Mbps is 2.27 Megabytes per second . . .

It doesn't matter how many devices you link together for a single tower. The capacity of the tower if it's a single T-1 will be 1.5 Mb/s and some of that is reserved so it's usually around 1.3 Mb/s max.

Jim was linking Verizon and Sprint together.

That's what I'm saying - Mb is megabits. MB is megabytes. 6-10 Mb/s is WAY faster than 3G speeds...

• EV-DO Rev. Downlink peak speed is 3.1 Mbps max. Those on single T-1 towers get around 1.2 Mbps max. You can't get something that is not there.
