I wonder how much will my rates go up... I would switch to satellite, but my apartment lease forbids the dishes.
The FCC has laws that say they can't do that.
In a some obscure ways, satellite dishes and broadband internet antennas can indeed be prohibited.

The FCC's OTARD rule primarily prohibits the indiscriminate banning of the placement of antennas. If a city ordinances adopt the National Electric Code recommendations, then those recommendations become law and are exempt from OTARD protection.

Can a an apartment complex prohibit you from mounting a dish on your patio railing? Yes, as it compromises the structure.

Can an apartment complex prohibit you from mounting a dish on your patio with its own unattached concrete block mount? No, they can't prohibit you.

Can an apartment complex prohibit you from mounting a dish on your patio with its own unattached concrete block mount that does not follow the NEC grounding recommendations? Yes.

Can an apartment complex prohibit you from mounting a dish on your patio with its own unattached concrete block mount that is properly grounding, but needs an outside wall entrance? Yes, as it compromises the structure.

Can an apartment complex prohibit you from mounting a dish on your patio with its own unattached concrete block mount that is properly grounding, and fed through your window? No.

Hi All,
I keep reading in the forums where the nfl network has been moved to a different 'tier', I believe I read the digital classic / preferred tier. I live in the 32218 zip code area, as far as I know, the only way we can receive the nfl network is on the sports and entertainment tier that we are paying extra for. Does this apply to anyone else in here ?
