Planning a road trip, part of the route is from Denver to Salt Lake City.
There are two routes available: I-80 through Wyoming and I-70.
Which route should I take to make the best out of my trip?
My appreciation in advance. |

| I can't vouch for I-80 (never driven that portion of it), but there are stupendously beautiful views along I-70, pretty much nonstop from just west of Denver, up until you get past Grand Junction.
Also, it's peach season right now in Palisade, so you'll find some of the most delicious fruit you'll ever have 5 minutes off the highway. |

I have to say you need to go I70 for some of the best Peaches in the US.. I thought we had the best in TX but till i had some from the Paliasade's i was in love from the first time. |

| reply to tokevino I'm a big fan of I-70. However, I-80 would be the quickest route. If you took I-70 you would either go too far south or have to take state routes (yuck).
When I drive, I drive for speed. So pick what is most important to you, speed or scenery. -- Whats smells like blue? |
