Chaldo join:2008-03-18 West Bloomfield, MI | is it free mins on hollidays like today? My cousin has Verizon wireless, and he once told me his plan was free night/weekends and hollidays... So I was wondering if AT&T wireless does the same thing??
Does anyone know?

 | Verizon Wireless no longer considers holidays to be weekends. It's a regular weekday and you'll use minutes just like any other Monday. -- It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice. |

Not that I use my personal cell that much, but still. I must have missed the fine print somewhere since I've been with them for like 8 years. I think I signed up when they were Bell Atlantic Mobile and I believe then it was nights/weekends/holidays.

According to my 7/3/05 invoice, "Beginning on September 1, all calls sent and received on national holidays - New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day - will be billed according to the time of day, and the day of the week, they occur..."

| As I said, I don't use the phone much, so I don't really pay attention what they send me. I pay for 450 mins a month and I have never used more than 105 minutes for the month. -- "Honesty may be the best policy, but it's important to remember that apparently, by elimination, dishonesty is the second-best policy." - George Carlin |
