The 5000 for Vonage is on a residential plan. That doesn't specifically mean 5000 international minutes. |

| reply to ChuckIL9 said by ChuckIL9 :said by best4me :viatalk is the only one giving 1200 International minutes. Lowest of all the other companies. Yeah, but that's 40 minutes a day, every day. Considering the average residential landline customer only uses 600 minutes a month, 1200 international minutes is pretty generous and would be hard to use up if you are a residential customer. You don't know my wife. Between calls to her parents, her sister, old friends, etc, she can burn close to 400 min/week easily... -- New to Forum Life? Click here and learn. |

1 edit | Yes, that's pretty low for "unlimited". I'm aware that it doesn't mean what it used to, but when "unlimited" is easily reached, that's quite lame. 5,000 falls within reason and 1,200 doesn't.
Plus, as another poster has already indicated... quite Betamaxish except with them, 10 Euro buys 120 freedays, not 30. Oh, and you can use those 10 Euro to call cell phones or wherever else too. |

3 edits | Its in the fine print right below list of countries and and prices even has a little 3 in the main description to point it out international fine print. "(3)VT World includes 1200 minutes of international calls. All calls to landline phones included in the 1200 minutes. Calls to cell phones may be included depending on destination. These may be subject to change. Excludes certain call types such as calls to non-geographic and premium numbers." With the exception of the 1200 minutes this is the exact wording from Vonage.? |
