FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Patriots announced today that S Brandon Meriweather has been named AFC Defensive Player of the Week by the National Football League for his performance in the Patriots' 35-7 victory last Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It is the first time that Meriweather has earned the honor. Meriweather is the first New England defensive player to win the award since Asante Samuel earned the award in Week 12 of the 2007 season.
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Patriots announced today that QB Tom Brady has been named AFC Offensive Player of the Month for October by the National Football League. It is the third time that Brady has earned an AFC Player of the Month honor. He was the AFC Offensive Player of the Month for September and October in 2007.

Out There | A small town called Wilton. It's about two hours from everywhere. lol My family still lives there and I go back as often as I can. My brother and his family now live in Weld which is even smaller than Wilton. Very beautiful parts of Maine if you ask me.
