Ahh ok. Thanks for the clarification. I saw the 800 minutes and was fairly surprised.

Nope. Just when you're out in the boonies, which most people aren't. They have pretty good roaming coverage/agreements but you're right, they're not Verizon.

If you really want to pick on coverage though T-Mobile is the prime target.

That Sprint map is way out of date. Also if you look every other map says "source X company" Spints doesn't seem to have a source.

As is T-Mobile's and a pretty fair portion of AT&T's...

Instead of the joke of a plan ATT announced yesterday they could learn something from this move by sprint.
The idea of unlimited sms, calls to any carrier sounds really nice to me.
Att, Pay attention. This is things customers like.
Not that joke of an A list plan you released yesterday!

The difference is one company is profitable and increases in revenue, and the other isn't. Can you guess which one is which?

It's all a joke why don't we just cut the bull and go unlimited all the way on all networks. We pay enough for out plans anyway.

My Sprint family plan used about 4 GB last month over 5 phones. Phones like the Pre use a lot of internet. 20 MB wouldn't work. It would be like $40 per month plus $1 million in data charges ... no thanks!

Re: ATT could learn

You're not page Plus's audience. For people who want everything and the kitchen sink voice + text wise, Page Plus is great. For data-heavy users like me, Sprint works best. I could be paying a few bucks less for Page Plus service than for my current Sprint plan, but like you I use a lot of data.

As far as overages go, you're looking at 60¢ per MB. So over four phones with 20MB of data to start with you'd be looking at $2352 in overages Not quite $1M but still ridiculous.

I've used 1.3 GB on my Touch Pro before so I wouldn't be happy with my Page Plus bill either, though I'd probably just change my usage patterns.

The iPhone's a joke. One day the love affair with Apple will burst and it'll be all over. Or, people can just keep being sheep and lining up at Apple and AT&T's door for the slaughter.

Just so you know SMS voice messages are charged at 3 cents per KB. It's in the fine print.

Really? Where in the fine print does it read that for this plan?

According to this: »www1.sprintpcs.com/explore/ueCon···aging100

Charges: Standard text messaging rates apply. If you subscribe to a text messaging plan, messages will deduct from your plan. Data connection charges will apply if you do not subscribe to a Sprint PCS Vision plan.

Since unlimited text messaging and "unlimited" data is already included in this plan, I don't see how a 3 cent/kb fee could apply. I think that 3 cent thing is only applicable to voice only plans with no texting or data on it.

in the fine print it says that texting is unlimited if you're on the EVERYTHING plan, which is required to receive the anymobile feature.

SMS voice uses data. That's it.

Also, NOBODY uses SMS voice.
