Motorola branded 2210 says Netopia in the admin console.Why?

LCorey join:2005-06-03 Thermal, CA	Motorola branded 2210 says Netopia in the admin console.Why? Is something wrong with my new Motorola 2210? Says Motorola on the modem but Netopia in the admin! Does this matter? If so can it be "flashed" with new firmware to read Motorola in the admin ? Thanks

It is possible that there exists newer firmware, but often the firmware needs to match what the ISP expects, so I would be cautious. There still is a Netopia/cayman forum, as well. »Netopia/Cayman -- I tried to remain child-like, all I achieved was childish.
