reply to baineschile Techs won't help because Comcast sucks the same all over Rockford. I have a lot of friends that still use Comcast and it's like this all over town. They never see 16mbps and most of the time they are under 10mbps with pings in the hundreds. Their network has been poo since they took over for Insight 2 years ago. He needs to just get dsl and satellite as it's the only reliable connection in Rockford.
Thanks for the witness Steve...I didn't choose Comcast. Comcast chose me when they took over Insightbb and They broke their promise when when they announced the takeover . (I am not going into the details here)

One thing I've noted in the review and will note here. Comcast does have the drop around here in the general upload speed and has been pretty true the whole time I've had them.
