Scientry and Sciencetry are not words...period. It's science, as in, rocket science.
Oh please and yeah well until the Simpsons D'oh wasn't a word but now in the English defining Oxford dictionary.... I doubt you had any real confusdion of meaning, unless a real dillard.

A bit over a year ago, I moved from Dish to DirecTV. I had Dish DVR 508's, which are single tuner SD DVR's. My new DirecTV DVR's are HD / SD tuners and support an external HD.
Now wait a minute you are trying to compare a 1st and a half gen DISH DVR to current tecnology???

Yes both companies screw current subscribers on upgrades vs giving the world to new subs. But I sort of got a existing sub deal

Heck I had an aged comparitivily to 522 dual tuner location DVR to replace my owned dual tuner 721 I HAD to give up (TIVO lawsuit (5222 seems more Tivo like than 721)) It works just fine.... everyhjthing the 721 did .
(It also considered owned no no monthly DVR fee on the 522)... plus the benifit of dual room.... can dub off stuff to DVD at reciver site, while still watch live or even other recording and rec playback in bedroom, I couldn't with the single location 721.

Until they did that I was considering going back to DTV where gone long enough (near 10yrs then now that) I would be considered a new sub and get the TEMP new sub deals deals.

Sub not long either... Cumcast and DTV both send me direct mail (w/postage $1 cost) at least weekly trying to ge me back (wonder why rates are high).... talk about waste of money especialy in Comcast's case.... NEVR EVER... might go back to DTV NEVER Comcast)

I couldn't live without Sunday Ticket so if that is important to you, the choice is easy
