And my computer and itunes doesn't recognize it. I've read through other posts and have tried everything, I think -- specifically tried multiple attempts to reset following others' instructions. It's not really resetting -- it looks like it's going off and then a few seconds later the screen lights up and the apple appears, but it doesn't completely start up, just freezes at that point. Sometimes it will stay off, but then when I turn it on again, the whole problem just starts all over again. Last night I put it on the wall charger and when I turned it on this morning, it was frozen at the language screen. I don't have an Apple store near me, so bringing it in for evaluation isn't an option. I've had it about 4 years -- that seems to be a pretty long life from what I'm reading. Is it just old and tired and not likely to work again??? |
