| It depends on how they market it. If it's an addon of 20-30 bucks a month that can be added to any existing bundle deal, than yes.
If it's 120 bucks a month by itself and would break any existing bundle to get it, then no. |

Well just as a benchmark, Comcast recently dropped the price on their Extreme Tier(50/10 mbps) to $100 as part of a pkg and $117 stand alone internet only.
I would expect a 100/50 mbps tier to come in around $150 stand alone and maybe $135 if part of a pkg. Maybe more.
Of course, I have no idea what Insight now charges for their normal speeds.
EDIT: Checking their current prices, they offer 20/1.5 mbps for about $50 as part of a pkg and $60 stand alone. »www.cedmagazine.com/Insight-ramp···ome.aspx

Its possible with Docsis 3.0 in both 4 channel and 8 channel mode. I think more realistically though a 50/20 or 50/30 tier is more likely. Which I am fine with too. |
