MMS since launch in Canada, but expensive

We've had MMS since the 3GS launched here in Canada, but at $0.50 per message, why would anybody use it?

If you want to send a video, you can upload to youtube and then email the link, and that's free.

Your right, it really boils down to if you have an iPhone there are multiple other methods of sharing something with someone that are all more efficient than Text/MMS

I'm willing to bet in the future you see certain capabilities only supported by iPhone to iPhone interaction, hence why in the contacts app there is a choice for "iphone" as the type of number it is...they made it a point to distinguish it from just "cell"
