Re: . Your numbers are way off. Last I checked, they had 14,000,000 HSI subscribers. Assuming (low ball) 80% rent a modem, thats about 11.5 million modems out there. So, 2 bucks more a month is more like 23 million more a year.

11.5 million modems times $2 per month = $23million per month $23million times 12 months = $276 million per year
And that is on top of the assumed income of $3 per modem per month which is currently $414 million per year.
So, at $5 per modem per month with 11.5 million customers renting, Comcast is pulling a tidy sum of $690 million a year.
That is all assuming the 11.5 customer base is an accurate number. -- This world needs a Reset button |
