lorennerol posted : I called the biz support line last week and waited 25 minutes on hold: Things are not what they used to be on that side, either. The DBM system was much better and should still be offered, given the premium cost of Speakeasy service.

bye bye

guyjr posted : Well, I finally cancelled today after switching to FiOS a couple days ago. It was bittersweet - I've been a Speakeasy customer first in NYC back in 1999 til 2002, then again in NJ since 2005. I always got prompt, courteous support within a minute of calling, and never had an issue that they couldn't address in a timely manner. It is clear they're focused more on the business customers these days, and they have a very hard road ahead of them with FiOS rolling out in more and more major markets every year (Pittsburgh is next)... But, I cannot justify the much higher costs anymore... I now pay a good $50 less for roughly 4 times the bandwidth.

Good luck in the future Speakeasy!
