 | Agreed! I would rather have a great network and be able to make calls instead of having a nice, stylish piece of junk that doesn't work.. |

1 edit | My Palm Pre works and is the best smartphone platform I've worked with (have used all the major ones).
Verizon will have webOS devices probably next year. Will help but you'll probably pay nearly 50% more for the same services vs Sprint when including GPS, data, unlimited messaging, etc. Now that Sprint has free calls to any mobile carrier device, they are hard to beat on value.
Have no interest in Verizon's higher prices and draconian policies. Sprint meets my needs (especially after recent improvements). If it didn't I'd be moving to Verizon.
Sprint is worth trying unless living in an area they are known to be weak. When visiting weak Sprint areas, you can roam on Verizon or others. I can see why Verizon would be the first to consider though. They do their thing very well. |

One thing I like about the iPhone is that it's a solid product. Gave my first iPhone (getting close to 3 years old) to my roommate and it still looks and works like new. Never used a screen protector. With our previous phones we were lucky to get a year out of them, and they were pretty battered and bruised up by that point.
Verizon's got a good network, but AT&T is the only carrier with service at my home. My experiences with AT&T's customer service have surprisingly been pretty good. I just wish they'd deploy more towers. -- AT&T U-Hearse Your funeral. Delivered.

I would rather have a real PHONE rather than a ghettofabulous piece of JUNK which categorizes most of the "sexy" GSM phones out there. |

I can put up with the congestion on AT&T's network (because people can actually use it) around 4-6PM which causes me to have to redial 3-6 calls a month than live with Verizon's crippled phones and of course since it is CDMA you are locked into the Verizon phone monopoly.
I pay AT&T $15/month for data and I can do whatever I want with it... get my exchange email 24/7 or hook up my computer to the PC... no hacking needed. -- PRescott7-2097 |
