Well I have a Verizon Blackberry and mine works fine for browsing the web. So does my wife and kids and all of theirs work perfectly. What model? Can I help you with the settings so it works for you like it works for me?
None of my BlackBerry users have trouble browsing the web either. The BlackBerry scored right behind the iPhone for web browsing in a comparison I read a year or so ago.
