I know we are getting close to expansion, but I have recently joined a group in the past month to try and get Kingslayer title before expansion.

I really enjoy 2hd Blood spec and even though my 2nd spec is unholy, i am not a big fan.

I was wondering if you guys could give me some pointers as to what I can do. I have been running icc10 for like 2 months and LDW has only dropped her trinket once and a pally dps won it. At this point, I can guess that I have no luck on getting trinkets from a raid. So I can either get the frost emblem trinket and maybe banner from toc 5 normal.
Besides that.. I have been wondering how I should gem.. I just swapped 5 of my yellow gems out for 10 hit, 10 expertise. It seemed to help some, plus freed up my trinket slot to get rid of the +hit trinket I was wearing.

i am doing pretty good dps.. like over 9k single target in icc10 right now, but I feel like I could be doing better and wondering if gemming for ArP would do that. what advice do you guys have for my toon?

Just got the 251 2h sword, 'Citadel Enforcer Claymore??', off Marrowgar (I know, I just started to raid again). I'm currently using Justice Bringer from Toc 25.

I'm having a hard time telling if this is an upgrade or not. The sword has slightly less upper dps, but has ~10 more strength. The axe is slower. Sword has hit, axe has arp. Both have one gem slot.

Pummelled the dummy for a quick session and they seem to be pretty close (didn't hit the dummy for long, just a couple mins each).

Thoughts?

I don't need to use the weapon with the highest gear score, obviously. Just want the most effective one.

Boots LDW 25 man, they drop almost every time..

Rings: OK, until you can get Rotface 10 Heroic one. (not that hard)

Gloves T10, nice.

Helmet: T10, you have your 2 set bonus now.. good

Legs: OK, nothing better until Heroic Vanquisher marks T10

Neck: LDW 25 man, the Ahn'kahar Onyx Neckguard drops almost every time, even combined with the boots!

Shoulders, Nice, but you could benefit a bit more with the T10 bonus.. try to aim for the T10, Sanctified of course.

Trinkets: yeah, I have the same Greatness card, but combined with DBW.. the ideal is to have DBW and H WFS, but WFS will do for now.

Belt: Nice

Wrist, get gunship or even better heroic gunship ones.. I plan on making my main spec tanking. I have been primarily a blood tank. I tried out frost and I didn't like it as much. Blood seemed to have a simpler rotation (if you can call it that) and felt smoother. Trying to gear up to be an OT and maybe eventually MT for ICC.

I guess first thing: How is my spec, and am I making correct gear choices? Some gems are messed up because I bought the wrong ones, and I didn't have the money (or other characters on the realm) to swap them out, and cant spare the badges.

Second thing: I only find my self struggling early in an aoe pull when I am trying to get the diseases up on the mobs and waiting for the blood runes to start blood boil. Once I can get the blood boils going I typically have them, but usually a dps will pull 1 or 2 off before I can tab target to get some additional threat on them. Any fast way for a blood tank to build threat on aoe group?

Right now I have the Beheader out of pit of saron, but lately been farming 10man ICC sword off 1st boss

i don't have a straight out rotation but usually spam DS on bosses just in case something goes wrong with heals or something, i usually throw in Unholy command or RS just to keep threat solid.
Right now my gears not great but i got a few 264s,251s etc.

I have been gone from the game for 4 months due to computer issues and starting a new job. I just managed to re-download WoW and all of its content. Just started to play over the past few days. I have an Orc DeathKnight at 80, with mostly T-9 Gear. Just before my computer went down I basically re-gemmed to all strength as a 51-0-20 Blood build. Is this still currently a reliable build. I am currently tryin to save up Frost badges to get my T10 gear.

So I guess what I am wondering is the 51-0-20 Blood build a reliable build to use with the T9 gear gemmed for strength (or do I need armpen). Got the 2h sword from Reg HoR and wanted to respec to blood.

Any ideas for improvement or does this look viable for HC's at least. I will dps raids as my gear is a lot better and I know what im doing with my dps.
