AlexE4 : So I live in Park Ridge, right near uptown. If I type in my address on the Sprint website, it says I have 4G coverage at my house, no doubt about it, my entire town is blue (4G coverage). When I type in my address on Clear's website, it says there's no coverage at my house though. I also own a Xohm USB modem still from back in the day, is there any chance that this thing will work on the Clear network or sprints network or someones network... and if so, where do I get the drivers. Xohm's website no longer allows you to go to the support section to download them and Clear only links to drivers for the laptop card xohm modem. I guess my question is.. is it possible to have coverage from Sprint but not Clear? Even though I used to have coverage (barely) using my Xohm USB modem from Xohm? This has just been one big run around from clear/sprint support..

But the map was old and she's swapped out my equipment anyway.

She had to change my "market area" from Atlanta to Chicago. It wasn't available to her as a "drop down" so she had to work with someone else to do that.

Once the market area was changed, she had to change me from "customer provided equipment" to "leased equipment".

Once that was done, she was able to send me out a home modem and a USB mobile device. Shipped overnight, free of charge.

She had to email a supervisor in the inventory department to explain the situation so the order could be processed manually.

I asked why she changed me to "lease" and if I'd have to pay a recurring charge for it...she said that once I get the equipment and can verify that it's working, I could call back and explain the situation...and they would change me back to "customer provided" and have me ship the leased equipment back...but that I would actually ship back the Xohm equipment so that I'm left with the Clear stuff.

The call was made towards the end of the day and I'm not sure where they are located so it might not have been shipped yesterday, but who knows...I may be surprised with a package today. If not, I should have it by tomorrow. I'll keep you posted....
--
»www.VoIPTrunk.com
