In our area we have to competing companies Astound Broadband and Comcast. Both are running lines their lines on the same poles but a minimum of 2 feet between them vertically separated. So how would they not know? What a cheap way to make a buck!

| Yeah, this doesn't make any sense at all. Comcast's tap would be either above or below the other service providers tap. And it's normally universal (above or below) for the entire city. Also, I seriously doubt both providers use identical house tags, connects, etc.. |

North Little Rock, AR | The cable box on the outside of my house says property of Comcast cable seems like that would be an easy way to tell if it was their customer or not.
