@ms.us | alltel um175 and kr2
Anyone using the Alltel UM175 with the Kyocers KR2? I have recently got a good price on a KR2 but now I have been seeing that the Alltel version is not compatible with the KR2. Any help or advice out there? |

| Alltel UM175 is not supported by the KR2 . Kyocera stopped supporting the KR2 . And a there are no more firmware updates coming . You should get a Cradlepoint router from WWW.Wirelessnwifi.com . They support the Alltel UM175 -- www.MaximumSignal.Net |

| reply to Arilla The UM150 Alltel and Verizon both are supported by the KR2, and the UM175 is supported on Verizon only, with the latest firmware. Get the update here: '»www.wirelessnwifi.com/Firmware-Updates'
The KR2 is a great little router, built by Cradlepoint it is an MBR1000 with the extra PCMCIA slot.
Problem is that there won't be any more firmware updates, so none of the newer modems will be supported. Also the support is pretty slim.
