Springfield Cable customers are happy, not being gouged.

Maybe Springfield customers are satisfied with their service and do not want to be gouged. Being forced to rent digital subscriber terminals at outrageous prices if they want the extended channel lineup may irritate some people. If they want to view premium channels they can rent a descrambling converter for $1.95 per month rather than $6.95 for a digital box from Comcast. On the other hand some customers may only want their television sets to light up and make noise.

Do you even need the converter if you have a cable-ready set? Aren't they just using traps (either negative or positive) on the pole/pedestal?
