That would be a good reason to get your ONT mounted inside the house. Nothing to disconnect, unless they want to cut the fiber cable.
I got almost 250lbs of dogs on patrol in my back yard where my ONT is located, so I think I am safe. -- So put me on a highway, and show me a sign. And take it to the limit one more time...
