<description><![CDATA[Dominokat posted : I have to say though. As far as the plumbing. <br><br>I had an addition put on. It seems all they did was pipe into the old plumbing.... hence. Turn on water..... it travels from the new addition part, into the "old" kitchen, and back to the new sink. Same with the drainage. I pull the plug and I can hear the pipes halfway through the house crackle from the heat. It isn't plumbed right. And I need to get it done right once and for all<br><br>Other plumbing issues I fixed myself. <description><![CDATA[Dominokat posted : I'm even more ready!<br><br>My bathroom sink always freeze up when it got very cold, and windy. <br><br>I decided to replace the aging faucet, and in the process the drain also.<br><br>Since I had everything apart and open, I took out the floor boards giving me my first site of my pipes. <br>TADA! They where bare, on the concrete floor, right along the outside wall (and to my knowledge with no insulation) <br><br>So I found a board, lifted them off the floor, and also used spry foam insulation along the wall and other open spots hopefully sealing any drafts.<br><br>I am hopeful this will end my freezing pipes! <br><br>It already feels warmer under the sink..... ]]></description>

( I never did this before so we'll see how this works) <br><br>And sadly, moved and covered all my outside furniture and covered the AC unit. I've taken down my planters,  and stashed all my lawn care stuff once and for all.<br><br>My outside jobs are finished for the winter. Now on to my 36 item list of things to do INSIDE over the winter. ]]></description>

I've been trimming branches all week using a manual 'saw-on-a-stick'; they had a gas powered one with a better reach! They cut a couple I would have needed a ladder for, took some of the stuff I had cut down, cut some things I wanted cut AND dropped 2 little scrub oaks for me! <br><br>GO TEAM! <br><br>Being late October, I tossed them a couple Reese's' PB cups and told them they had great costumes. ]]></description>

We saw loads of seals off Wells beach a couple of weeks ago. They seemed to be perfectly content to have most of the beach to themselves. <br><br>I will not miss the "tent" deal... I freely admit that I am getting old, and intolerant of waking up in a cold pick-up truck with a colder tent off the back. Penned letters of recommendation for my summer crew (the girl was in tears about going home, in May she hated the place. Typical J-1 student). Trimmed most of the trees. Attic fan is sealed for winter.<br><br>To do list is get rid of tree limbs and seal driveway. Clean fishing rods in a few weeks after the fall slam. Plant Narcissus bulbs. Firewood. Fix some trim and paint.]]></description>
