I have been running windows 7 sense it was released to RTM. I installed it fresh with no upgrade. As soon as it was announced i pre-ordered the $30 windows 7 for college students.(as all you know its an upgrade only copy) I got my key today and put it into windows (same installation i have been running for a few months) and it activated just fine! no upgrade or double install needed.. |

South Lyon, MI | There is a Windows 7 PRO Upgrade VLK disc. I know because I just bought one. I downloaded the iso from eopen and burned it to disc.
It is not bootable I cannot boot from this disc and I am pissed off. |

It looks like if the disk subsystem has good 4k block I/O, the results will be higher than 5.9.
