well, if a person can not afford the cost of expensive health insurance, then it looks like it will just be a bill and maybe a paupers grave.

no matter how essential health insurance is, if you can not afford it, there is nothing you can do. do you skip buying food for the kids and skip paying the rent to pay the insurance? you can be homeless and hungry but have that expensive health insurance.

Here
clubs:
You have not seen the cost of this "education for a better paying job" or been in the job market for a long time I guess

It is better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

This is not about education, it is about being able to afford expensive health care. If one cannot afford the health insurance, certainly they wont be able to afford school either.

I can see it now, someone applying at a law firm to get a lawyer position.

Question by hiring person: Do you have a law degree?
Answer by person who couldnt afford insurance or school: No, I dont, but I spent a lot of time in the library reading books because it was no cost to me.

That will really fly.

when you start your working life,)guess it's still 18 yrs old) you pick hat you want the field you want to work at, be it medical, aviation, mechanical, electrical, ect, & you stay with it, (No I don't mean starting at McDonalds, unless you plan on becomming a manager or owner,) the 1st job I started out with was fueling airplanes at the local airport, then in service I learned my trade on board am aircraft carrier,("Sara")& how to work on planes,& engines, after service I joined E.A.L. I worked my way up thru the ranks, when E.A.L. shut down I applied FOR & worked for D.A.L. until 6 of us were hurt,& not able to work any longer,
yes the schooling for those starting out (in the aviation field anyway) is very exspnsive reguardless if you want to become a pilot, or mechanic, but the rewards ae worth it.

Look at John Travolta actor, worked his way up through the aviation industry to become a Captain,(Ole Man) & worked for a major airline, for awhile,
you have to decide what you want to do, and as someone once said,
""IF YOU want something bad enough reguardless how far out of reach it seems,IF you want something bad enough you'll reach your goal.

John Travolta was and has been a movie star all his life. He went to pilot school on his own and got his license. He has flown an assortment of planes and owns about five different planes including single props and a large jet which he bases at his house which also is on a air strip. He has not worked as a professional pilot for any commerical airline. He did want it bad enough that he took the time and money to make it happen.

"Travolta is a certified pilot and owns five aircraft, including an ex-Australian Boeing 707-138 airliner. The plane bears the name Jett Clipper Ella in honor of his children. Pan American World Airways was a large operator of the Boeing 707 and used Clipper in its names. The 707 aircraft bears the marks of Qantas, as Travolta acts as an official goodwill ambassador for the airline wherever he flies. His $4.9 million estate in the Jumbolair subdivision in Ocala, Florida, is situated on Greystone Airport with its own runway and taxiway right to his front door."

I wonder why in his list of movie credits, he doesn't list he palyed "The Boy in the Plastic Bubble, a very TRUE story about a little boy,»www.imdb.com/title/tt0074236/

The problem here is that there are some strange folks at this site who spend all their time looking for threads where they can be nasty. Several of those people are in this thread.

Most people who don't have insurance will go to the emergency room for treatment. Hospitals have to treat them. When they leave, the bill stays with the hospital because they have no intention of paying it.
so that means that because your sent a bill which (john Q Public) or illegal has no intentionof paying, makes hospital charge insurance companies OR MEDICARE/MEDICAID more $$$,whch in turn charge people that HAVE TO PAY our INSURANCE MORE $$$$$,but I guess have a computer & the internet us more important then having health insurance,
