Daemon - that only works if you use exchange - I use outlook with my ISP
Google is running an exchange activesync server. it will work with all google calendar accounts. You can use caldav as well, and I do, but it's not as convenient to set up as activesync.
I already have an activesync account via work, which is why I can't use it via google.
