Dude, you have to be .5 mile from the RADSL device for 40Mbs and 1 mile for 20Mbs (as VDSL attenuates to ADSL2). With that kind of coverage the value of Qwest is moot. you realize that .5 miles is ~2600 feet and 1 mile is 5280 feet. even if you are looking at standard adsl, synch rates for 1.5meg service are roughly 6k feet. anything more than that, and you're getting spotty coverage. its *not* a moot point because of the synch rates at the distance. it *is* a moot point because of the limited deployment of the adsl2+/vdsl line cards into the dslams that are fiber fed.
