Certainly none in Boulder/Louisville yet

I don't understand why both Comcast and Qwest underserve the Boulder/Louisville area given the concentration of tech workers here.

In Louisville we're stuck at Blast! speeds for now (not actually too shabby at 16M down).

Qwest has done some upgrading in my area - good because when I switched to Comcast the most Qwest would qualify me for is 256K because of my loop length and their refusal to invest in remote DSLAMs.
(Though I actually trained at 640K.)

Now they say the best I can get from their "up to 20M down" service is 14M down, so Blast! even without DOCSIS 3 still beats them.

(The pricing however is no contest, as I have Internet only from Comcast and so pay about $20/month more than I would for Qwest DSL, but at least I don't have to deal with Windows Live...)
