3 edits | Tool can tell you what DNS servers Comcast has & where »dns.comcast.net/dig-tool.php

The domain helper dns addresses: »dns.comcast.net/dns-ip-addresses.php
The opt-out dns addresses: »dns.comcast.net/dns-ip-addresses2.php
P.S.>> the 2 links above also give a nice look at where Comcast has their major concentrations of users.

It's a project that's aimed to OCR old documents, newspapers, and books whose text is poor enough quality that they can't easily be machine processed (which makes them good against automated attempts at solving them) but hopefully can be human readable (which makes them better suited then some distortion techniques that REALLY mangle the letters/words. |

This empowers users to look at where DNS is relative to them on the network and find out which ones are closest to you. As a power user you can decide to use the DHCP assigned ones or maybe ones that are a little closer on the network if that is the case.
Hopefully this gives users a better idea where the DNS is and how better to use it.
Thanks

The above is my DNS so there isn't much difference from machine to DNS. I don't think clicking on the Did you mean URL makes much difference unless Comcast is rewarded for my typo. |
