Anyone who subscribes to NBA League Pass doesn't get NBA TV as a bonus. If you are either a Sports package customer or an Extreme HD package customer, you are entitled to both the SD and HD channels of NBA TV. However, if you are just a Premier package customer with no subscription to the Sports package, you are only entitled to the HD version of NBA TV which is on channel 589 and not the SD version which is on channel 89. I know it sounds messed up and even unfair but that's Verizon's policy when it comes to which packages get or doesn't get the SD version of NBA TV.

SpeedyFios, you said that you subscribe to no other package besides NBA League Pass. Does that mean you don't watch anything on TV besides the NBA? How about local channels? You must have at least subscribed to the Local package where you receive all local channels but no basic cable channels. Both Premier and Extreme HD packages have both local and basic cable channels. Are you sure you're not signed up to either the Local, Premier or Extreme HD package?

anon posted : The widget will let you see all the scores of current games and if it's anything like the NFL RedZone widget you can dig deeper into the teams and their stats. If you also have the subscription to league pass you will get pop up alerts telling you what game is about to start, as well as 1/2 way ending and overtime info. The 2 things work together for the best experience.... ( wow I sound like a commercial)
