If just the DNS is out you can still get there if you know the address. Most routers are set up to allow for 2 or 3 DNS servers.
I use Open DNS then the closest Comcast DNS and if all else fails I can use a Level 3 server. I a floating the idea of putting one local on my network to speed things up even more.
