| CSN Chicago on the Sports Package (outside of IL & IN)
Does anyone know why CSN Chicago is not on the sports package outside of "the market" of Illinois and Indiana? Also, is there any hope that AT&T will be adding it to the "out of market" sports package anytime soon? I would like to watch the Cubs more if I move out of the Midwest. |

| Even if you had CSN-Chicago out of market, the Cubs, Sox, Bulls, and Blackhawks would still be blacked out.
MLB, NBA, NHL rules dictate that out-of-market games cannot be shown out of market on RSNs (like the various FSNs & CSNs).
The broadcast rights belong to the teams in their home markets, and can be sold to the local RSN. Outside of the home market, the broadcast rights belong to the league, and are resold as part of the Extra Innings (MLB), Center Ice (NHL), and League Pass (NBA) packages.
Thus far, U-Verse does not carry any of the Pro Sports Out-of-Market packages |

| It applies to ALL of the providers. They have to enforce the league rules. If you want to view professional games outside of your market, you would have to purchase the out of market packages (i.e. MLB Exta Innings, NHL Center Ice, NBA League Pass, etc.). By the way, none of these are currently offered by U-verse. |
