Re: LITTLETON

I'm getting the full 22/5 speeds... but only since I replaced the modem I was renting from Comcast (and old RCA/Thomson) with a Motorola SB5101. I was topping out at 8Mbs/768K, and I wondered why I was not getting the faster speed I was being charged for.

Heard the modem rental fee was going up, so I bought. Bang. 22/5 and at times more.

Wonder how long Comcast would let customers go with old equipment that can't handle the higher 2.0 speeds? Let the customer complain and then replace the old stuff? Get business strategy, huh?

My old modem was a Webstar DPC-2100. I had it for 4 years and liked it! Comcast techs said that it couldn't do BLAST service 16/2 so I decide to swap modems. Then I upgraded to 22/5 and are buying a MOTOROLA SB6120 Docsis 3.0 modem. [THE BEST.. I've heard]

I don't think most people care about their equipment unless they take the time to do a little research to find out about it.
