PAP2T - No Phone LED light

Help!

I have Callcentric with a PAP2T-NA that I just bought off Amazon this week. The firmware is 3.1.15(LS).

I get a green power light and green internet light, but no LED light for Phone 1. I have tried the PAP2T behind my Trendnet router, and I have tried hooking it directly to my DSL modem.

Still no luck. Any thoughts?

Does it matter that the device itself says PAP2T and not PAP2T-NA?

Provision line 2 instead of line one. Then hook the cable into line 2 and you should get a light. Line 1 is probably locked and will not register to another provider.

Does your VoIP company show you as "registered"?

Looking at my Callcentric dashboard now it says "Your Phone is Not Registered".

I just tried what you said about Line 2 and no luck.

If my router is the problem, I should be able to plug the PAP2 directly into my DSL modem right?

You can try that but you will need to reboot both your PAP2 and your modem so that you get a new IP address to your PAP2.

Well I turned them both off. Then tried a direct connection from my DSL modem to the PAP2, turned them on, and still no luck.

The internet LED comes on, but neither the Phone 1 or Phone 2 LEDs do.

The first entry under Line 1 is "Line Enable". Does it say Yes or No? If it says No, switch it to Yes.

Can you log into the unit's web page? If not, please provide details. If yes, on Info tab, what does it show for Registration State?

It sounds like you do not have your settings correct. With the PAP2 connected directly, there should be nothing blocking your connection.

Did you set up your PAP2 according to the info posted by Callcentric? »www.callcentric.com/support/devi···sys/pap2

My Info tab says "Registration State: Offline".
The Line 1 page says: Line Enable: Yes".

I followed all the directions at Callcentric's webpage for setting up the Pap2T.

Nothing happens.

My Info tab says "Registration State: Offline".
This means that it isn't even trying to register. A real error would show as "can't connect ..." or "failed".

Post a screenshot of your settings (mask personal info).

Do you have the exact same settings for line 2 and is it enabled?

Are you using the correct phone number for registration? You have to use the 1777 number Callcentric gives you and not your DID number. Are you sure you have the password entered correctly?

Thanks to everyone for your assistance...

I don't know what I did, but I got it working. Did a factory reset, entered the settings again, unplugged it and powered down, then rebooted and WHOLA - success.

Thanks!
