15 Mbps down and "2 Mbps"
Typos aside, Cox's speed hikes are quite nice, though they're to be expected for DOCSIS 3.0 areas. That said, upload speeds are crappy across the board compared with Comcast. I'd have to get 50 Mbps down on Cox to get the same upload speed as I have right now on Comcast's mid-level DOCSIS 3 tier. Then again, 22/5 is $75 on Comcast, plus modem rental, whereas 25/3 on Cox is less and doesn't require a DOCSIS 3 modem as far as I can tell. |
