Pittsburg, KS | I'm In Kansas and I've been getting these speeds... I'm in Kansas (Southeast Area) and I've been getting 20 Mbps down and around 2-3 Mbps up consistently on the Preferred package for the past 6 months.
I've been paying $44.99 a month for some time, but for 20 Mbps down and 2-3 Mbps up I'm stoked.
Recently there was a week where I had high latency. I was told by the tech that visitied that this was due to a fiber issue and it was statewide. He also told me Cox does plan to deploy DOCSIS 3.0 soon after it is deployed in other areas. Of course, Kansas won't get it first, but I wouldn't be surprised if it were a very short amount of time after its dropped in other areas.
Throughout the 2 years I've had Cox, it has been a good experience. |
