There are some devices, fax machines, cordless phones, alarm systems, that are problematic with Fios. The voltage on your wire inside the house is lower than on a copper line to the house. What usually happens is device won't detect dial tone. If you're getting dt and can dial out it's unlikely a Fios problem.
