Verizon did a pretty good job of growing to be huge all on their own, before they bought Alltel. AT&T's getting lots of bad press about poor service reliability. None of my friends have changed their wireless in like 2 years since the iPhone came out, everyone that got the iPhone is either staying put or coming to Verizon.
