While the FREE bandwidth is 5G, additional GB of bandwidth are only $.05 per if you have the NationalAccess ($60 month) plan.
I watch movies from my laptop in a VERY remote, rural area where I barely get 2-3 bars... not the best compression but the 11GB extra I used this month costs me only $.55
Just saying... I'm not that happy with the speeds I get, but given that I am in the mountains of northern california, 60 miles from the nearest real town, it's okay, if a bit expensive.
Note that I DID purchase a $20 external attenna to improve on my signal, which took my RSSI from the nineties down into the eighties. (dBm) |
