| What the heck is happening with Knology lately? (Montgomery)
For years, I've have excellent Internet service. Suddenly, in the last 3 weeks or so, it's gone WAY downhill. For about 2 weeks, it was very slow web browsing (although speed tests and downloads were normal). Then about a week ago, it went back to normal. YAY, Knology fixed whetever problem they had.
Whoops! Not so fast. Three days ago, it got worse again. This is occurring in Montgomery, AL. (east blvd area) Are others around here seeing this? How about Knology customers in other locations?

I live near East Dale Mall area (36117). When I first moved down here, it was good. Then it just went downhill from there. You should do your speed test often, It fluctuates constantly throughout the day. So it may seem good one second them BAM! Nope.
Lately it's been sorta good, I'm not losing as much packets as I was before, and my download speed is back up to + - 3Mb. Way more stable than before, so I think they must have fix something.
If I were you, I would just keep complaining until they fix it. Have them send out tech after tech, until they figure this shit out (Doesn't cost us anything). We need more people to speak out. I think most people in our area don't even have a clue that their internet is messed up. "I tell you what''even with this inconsistency, Knology is still better than Charter... Even though charter is running at top speed, and cheaper. I'm gonna stop here before I start ranting.
My line quality test that I did a month ago, looks even worst than yours. I'll do a new one in a sec. I'll post it when it's ready.
PS. Hey keep doing speed test and LQT, so we can compare our results.
