Point is, you're probably still on fiber.
You might want to check the polarity of your lines. The jack (or all wiring in your house) might have reversed polarity - especially if a cable tv hack has been monkeying with things. This can be problematic for some faxes.
With fiber, it's especially easy to switch. Go into the ONT and reverse the wires that are coming out of the voice connection. You can do this if you're still on copper, but depending on the nid you have and the condition and amount of home runs, could get dicey and if you don't know what you are doing, you could jack up your inside wire. |
