[Serious] It's Raining Again

Did anyone notice? Or are you people still hung up on Birthday notices? I can't believe you people.

Considering it just recently started raining here again, I am sure a lot of people noticed, but have not posted about it yet, especially if it has not resulted in additional flooding problems. In terms of the recent flooding, as you have probably noticed, we have an ongoing thread about it: »Lots of Rain this week

There is currently a flash flood warning in effect in some metro Atlanta areas:

.. SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ALERT FOR HEAVY RAIN IN COWETA... DEKALB... GWINNETT... FORSYTH... HALL... DAWSON AND FULTON COUNTIES UNTIL 530 PM EDT...

AT 425 PM EDT... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN FROM 6 MILES NORTHWEST OF DUCKTOWN THROUGH MARIETTA TO 9 MILES WEST OF PLANT YATES. THE LINE OF STORMS WAS MOVING EAST TO NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF AROUND ONE INCH IN AN HOUR WILL OCCUR AS THIS LINE OF STORMS PASSES THROUGH THE ATLANTA METRO AREA.

RUNOFF FROM THESE STORMS WILL CAUSE BRIEF TEMPORARY FLOODING OF URBAN AREAS... HIGHWAYS... STREETS AND UNDERPASSES ACROSS COWETA... DEKALB... GWINNETT... FORSYTH... HALL... DAWSON AND FULTON COUNTIES... INCLUDING AREAS AROUND MOUNTAIN PARK... HIGHTOWER... MILTON... ROSWELL... PLANT YATES... DUCKTOWN... CAMPBELLTON... BOLTON... CHASTAIN MEMORIAL PARK... CHATTAHOOCHEE HILL COUNTRY... SANDY SPRINGS... ALPHARETTA AND ROSCOE. DRIVERS SHOULD USE CAUTION AS INTENSE RAINFALL WILL REDUCE VISIBILITIES.

I'm sorry skj but that thread is dead in the water. The last post was your's on the 23rd. It seems to me that a whole lot of people here in Atlanta would be more in tune with this thread.
I've tried before to wake up the thread only to locked or totally shut off.
It just seems that no one gives a darn about what's going on here. It's not just the floods.
We live in a City with a whole lot going on. Birthday wishes just don't cut it with me.

Did you post that last thread to appease me? You certainly haven't kept up to date with the weather forcast before now.

I certainly am not posting to appease you. If you will notice I posted in the last "rain" thread, as well. My last post was when the rain was over. As we discussed before, if you want to start a topic or contribute feel free, don't just criticize.

Edit: since we already have a "rain" thread going, I am going to close this one so we don't have two simultaneous threads on the same topic going. Thanks.
