| terrible sound with AV home theater and motorola hd box
Recently upgraded to HD TV, BlueRay, and Yamaha receiver...
System looks and sounds great, until cable broadcasts are ran through the AV receiver (Yamaha rx-v465)
Direct connect cable box (motorola dcx3200) via HDMI or component produces choppy sound... Even in plain stero mode.
Connection
CABLE ->HDMI OUT->AV HDMI IN-> AV HDMI OUT->SAMSUNG HDMI IN (POOR SOUND QUALITY-CHOPPY)
CABLE ->COMPONENT VIDEOOUT ->AV COMPONENT VIDEO- IN-> AV HDMI OUT->SAMSUNG HDMI IN (POOR SOUND QUALITY-CHOPPY)
Blue Ray OUT HDMI->AV HDMI IN-> AV HDMI OUT->SAMSUNG HDMI IN CRYSTAL CLEAR
Upgraded AV receiver with latest firmware,connect cable service to insure cable box has latest firmware
Will work with cable service on another box any other suggestions?
