whr-hp-g54 tomato "Port Scan -- Not supported"

I"m considering using Tomato on my stock WHR-HP-G54. What does the Tomato documentation "Port Scan -- Not supported." mean?

I have a static IP address and find that my router ignores many, many port scans.

My main reason for considering Tomato is for prioritizing of packets.

Recently I began sharing my network connection with a family member. Consequently, my Wireless connection seems to receive very little bandwidth when their Wired connection is active.

Looking at the past 5 days, my router logs show NMAP port scan attempts that have an average of 7.7 hits, with the longest duration being 3.5 days and 70 hits.

Also the router regularly ignores a plethora of SMURF attacks, IP Spoofing, TCP Syn Flood, plus a new one: "invalid packets".

My maximum bandwidth is quite low due to living in a remote area. We are using point-to-point microwave for our internet connection.

Thanks in advance for your time and dedication to helping others.
