<description><![CDATA[PigeonPigeon posted : I have a Conexant AccessRunner PCI ADSL Modem Adapter and while it does give a report of the noise margin it does not do so in a comprehensible manner.<br><br><pre class="brush: text">Physical Layer Stats:      Receive                   Transmit&#012; Noise Margin        7.66/ -3.12:  67           127.99/127.99:   0&#012; Attenuation              41.75                     27.50&#012; Power                                                -38&#012; &#012;</pre><!--end code block--><br>Now that obviously does not mean 67dB noise margin, and I have no idea what the "7.66/-3.12" bit means.<br><br>If anyone could explain how to convert these fairy numbers into a figure in dB it would be much appreciated.<br>]]></description>
