| Vintage Japanese Bike Rally at Suches
Headed up to TWO this morning on my '83 GPz550. The roads were full with hundreds of bicycle riders who made those of us on crotch rockets look like cautious old men. Come around a blind turn to see two bicycles side-by-side passing a car in my lane. Many more taking turns wide as the could not handle the speed.
Only saw a few old Jap bikes. Wonder if the bcycle race scared everyone away.
Just wondering if anyone else went. Looks like Friday may have been a good day. Sat was probably rained out.
Hope to hit it next year on the better day. Was there a few years back and saw lots of old KZ's, RD's, CBX's, vintage Z1's and a few turbos.
Meant to take camera. Did not want to bring saddle bags this time. One day will get a pic of the sign on GA 60 that says "Next 6 miles, steep grades and dangerous curves..." Made me smile
